Hello Everyone
My name is Audrey Williams. Together with my husband, Travis, and our four children, Charlotte, Lillian, Peter, and Amelia, we are Turkey Town Farm. Established in the historical area of Turkey Town near Hilliard, FL, we have owned and operated our farm since the spring of 2022.
Travis and I met in 2007 at the University of West Florida, married in 2010, had our first child in 2013, and continued to grow our lives together. We travelled around the country on various military assignments. For 15 years, I pursued my career as a Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal at some of the countries top law firms in Jacksonville, Florida; Washington, DC; and Fairfax, Virgina.
From the earliest stages of our marriage, Travis and I developed the dream of owning an ostrich ranch!! Boy, were we crazy. We always dreamed big, but knew those dreams would have to wait until post-military life.
During the wild events of 2020, I began yearning for a simple, quiet farm life that offered the freedom for my kids to experience a meaningful childhood. I wanted the feeling of security and comfort, distant from the societal issues that all Americans were experiencing.
Sooner than we anticipated, in 2021, we purchased our small piece of heaven and started the journey.
In addition to managing Turkey Town Farm, I spend each day with my home-schooled children, learning and growing with them. My husband is still active duty, stationed at NSB Kings Bay, GA. We are both active members of Florida Farm Bureau’s Young Farmers and Ranchers program.
We look forward to each day and what this new life has to offer. We are tremendously grateful for our healthy family, wonderful community, and the privilege to represent the legacy of Florida’s agriculture.
