Gloucestershire Old Spots (GOS)

The Gloucestershire Old Spot descended from the a region in Gloucestershire, England known as the Vale of Berkeley. Recognized as the oldest pedigree spotted pig in the world, they were commonly raised on farms and orchards, which is how they received the nicknames “cottage pig” or “orchard pig”. GOS are renowned for their large size, docile temperament, excellent mothering abilities, and excellent flavor due to the fat quality.

Red Wattle

Unique to North America, the Red Wattle has distinct, fleshy “wattles” on the underside of their neck. Their docile temperament and high quality, red meat make them excellent for small farm operations. The Red Wattle can grow quite large with males weighing as much as 800 lbs.
